CROSS COUNTRY NEWS

FIRST TO FINISH The Rebels Cross Country teams took advantage of a beautiful late summer morning Saturday (Sept. 11). All 7 Girls and all 3 Boys set Personal Best or Season Best times at the First To Finish meet at Detweiller Park in Peoria. The Rebel Girls finished 30th out of 50 teams with full rosters. The Girls were paced by Ashley Orrick (52nd - 20:27) who just missed getting a Top 50 medal by 3 seconds. Also scoring for the Girls were Paige Rewerts (127th - 22:06), Kokone Kasaya (223rd - 23:50), Keagan Hamilton (238th - 24:07) and Nina Longabough (276th - 24:57). Sarah Kraklow (398th - 28:03) and Katie Grinnell (467th - 33:21) were the other Girls finishers. The Boys only had 3 runners competing this week. Alex Welch (162nd - 18:37) crossed the finish first for the Boys followed by Jack Winans (353rd - 20:52) and Colby Carroll (354th - 21:34). First To Finish Results
